Bio

Hello everyone! My name is Aleksandra Kravtsova and I am a student from Russia. In September I will come to Paris for the first time in my life to study for a Master's degree in Astrophysics. I am interested in free accommodation in exchange for my knowledge and experience.

Firstly, I worked for several months as a counsellor at a children's camp, where I communicated with children aged 7-14. To do this, I attended professional pedagogical courses in Moscow and had practical training at the camp. Children will never get bored with me, because I know many ways to have an exciting time :D

Secondly, during my bachelor studies in Moscow, I also worked as a tutor, teaching physics and mathematics to middle and high school students to improve their academic performance and prepare them for entrance exams to universities and colleges.

Finally, in January this year, I also volunteered at the ESC-project in Eskisehir, Turkey, working with disabled children in a hippotherapy centre. There I passed IELTS 6.5 (English language level between B2 and C1) for admission to a French university. However, my English is now at a confident C1 Advanced level, so I would be happy to help your children learn English, Physics and Mathematics.

I was born in a large family with 4 brothers and spent all my teenage years with younger siblings. My aunt also has 12 children, so I was trained as a nanny from an early age, and I think that's where my love of working with children came from. Although I want to dedicate my life to science in the future, I am happy to have the opportunity to earn some extra money during my studies in a position that involves close communication with children.

Unfortunately, I've only recently started learning French and I'm now at a basic level, so I'm looking for parents who are interested in an English-speaking nanny :-)

Centres d'intérêts

I am a theoretical nuclear physicist, coming to Paris to study astroparticle physics and cosmology at the Paris-Saclay master's level. However, I also do most types of ballroom dancing (cha-cha-cha, rumba, samba, jive, paso doble, Argentine tango, salsa, bachata), horse riding (amateur), skiing and cycling.
