Bio

I am graduating a year earlier than I was supposed to, at 16 years old. I will turn 17 in August. I worked really hard to achieve this because my goal was to go to France to do a gap year first to learn French before pursuing my studies. One of the cultural experiences I’ve had was when I went to France for 3 weeks in the summer. Even though I was born in England and have travelled to different country since I was child, this was the first time I was in a foreign country that I was old enough to even notice. It taught me so much about how our environment affects us and how different or same people are anywhere you go.
After my trip my goals were completely changed, I decided I wanted to be back in France as soon as possible so I planned out that I would skip my junior year so I could graduate early. My hope is to find a host family during my stay because I strongly believe that is the best way to immerse myself in the language and culture.
