Bio

Hello, my name is Tobi. I’m 17 years old, male, born in South Africa, and currently living in Lagos, Nigeria. I’ve been accepted to Objectif 3D in Montferrier-sur-Lez, to study 3D Animation and VFX Cinema, to begin the preparatory year in October 2025, followed by the 3-year 3D bachelor's program (Bac+4).

I would describe myself as calm, respectful, and focused. I value quiet environments, personal space, and peaceful living, which is one of the main reasons I chose to study outside the city — close and easy access to nature. This will also be a great opportunity for me to truly immerse myself in the raw, everyday French culture — something I’m really looking forward to. I want to experience the language, the lifestyle, and the people beyond just the classroom. Although I’m currently 17, I will be turning 18 in less than a year, and I believe I already possess the maturity and sense of responsibility expected of an adult. Speak English fluently and French (B2 level) able to communicate without difficulties. My stay is fully funded by my parents.

I enjoy walking and biking in nature, and I’m someone who prefers meaningful conversations over loud or crowded settings. Open to do physical tasks and willing to assist with hands-on tasks around the house and outside and run errands. I know how to cook, even if I don’t enjoy spending too much time in the kitchen, keep my space clean, and I’m serious about keeping a balanced lifestyle to support my academic and creative goals.
