Bio

My name is Adrika Chaudhuri, and I’m a biology undergraduate student from India, preparing for an internship at the Institute de Neurosciences in Paris-Saclay this summer (May-July). I’m looking for a welcoming host family in the area, and I would love to offer my services in exchange for housing.

I can offer up to 8 hours of help per week, and I’m flexible with the tasks. I’m happy to assist with household chores, language practice (I know English, Bengali, Hindi, elementary German and French), tuition in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, or babysitting. I’m respectful, responsible, and eager to immerse myself in the local culture.

A little more about me: I am passionate about biology, particularly neuroscience, and I enjoy activities like hiking, reading, and cooking. I’m very easy-going, organized, and adaptable, and I value a calm and friendly environment.

I am deeply passionate about biology and neuroscience, and I’m particularly interested in understanding how neural circuits influence behavior. This summer, I will be interning at the Institute de Neurosciences in Paris-Saclay, focusing on research related to sensory processing and decision-making in Drosophila. Outside of my academic pursuits, I love hiking, birdwatching, and cooking, as well as reading, especially philosophy, ethics, and science. I enjoy engaging in thoughtful conversations, learning about different cultures, and immersing myself in new environments.
